Digital Reservoir


Overview

Digital reservoir is based on computer technology, multimedia technology and scale storage technology, using web as a link and applying remote sensing (RS), global positioning system (GPS), geographic information system (GIS), remote sensing and control, virtual reality and related modern high technologies to conduct multi-resolution, multi-scale, multi-temporal and multi-dimensional description of reservoir information. Through effective storage, inquiry and using of a variety of resources of the reservoir, to achieve informationalization, visualization, three-dimensionalizaiton, and visualization of reservoir operation, to facilitate related workers for scientific and accurate decision-making, scheduling and management.

Scope

This product is suitable for hydrology testing, dam safety testing, sluice automation, power automation, lock automation, pumping station automation in reservoir management.

Functions

Digital reservoir is a modern automation monitoring system which based on information collection and monitoring system, supported by communication and computer network platform, and treating integrated management information system as a core. Corresponding to reservoir flood control, water storage for irrigation, water supply, power generation, navigation, farming and other uses, the digital reservoir mainly has following seven functions:

1.Environmental water integrated monitoring: this system uses an standard-optional style design, which is flexible in accordance with user needs. Building an integrated information network monitoring system of wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, temperature, pressure, weather forecast and other meteorological information, which provides functions of displaying, monitoring, alarming, communication, storage, querying and etc

2.Dam safety monitoring: be able to acquire, process, inquiry, transmit, report and print the important parameters of saturation line, rainfall, water level, water temperature, storage capacity, tail water flow, and water flow of dam and river embankments.

3.Sluice automatic monitoring: real-time status monitoring and controlling of the spillway gates and water gates, to achieve the goal of ‘unattended, fewer people on duty, remote control’.

4.Pumping station automation control: pumping station automation system is mainly to achieve protection of asynchronous motors, acquisition of test data, communication, test and control of units and auxiliary equipment and etc.

5.Generators automated monitoring: unit automation system monitors and records generator voltage, current, frequency, energy, power and other parameters.

6.Reservoir groundwater monitoring: the system has real-time monitoring and historical inquiry functions. It is able to real-time inquire, collect, store and transmit each monitoring point water level, water quality, water temperature, PH value, conductivity and etc.

7.Reservoir engineering information management: large storage capacity, convenient statistical inquiry, be able to meet the statistical summary requirements of a variety conditions, fast feedback, high reliability, easy maintenance and operation.

1.A full range of data collection: The system can continuously, automatically, real-time, and in-time complete the collection and process of operating information of security situation, hydrological data, pumping conditions, water lock status, power unit operation condition in dam and river embankments.

2.Wireless data transmission: the system synchronously transfers data through wireless channel to the computer database in the monitoring center, to realize functions of analysis, judgment, warning, forecasting and WEB publishing and etc.

3.Low working environment requirement: each monitoring station is able to work at field under the conditions of unattended and no power.

4.24 hours real-time monitoring: solar power system, long-term stable and uninterrupted work.

5.Fully functional: central station software has functions of graphics, report query, monitoring, operation, data communications, integrated information management and etc.

6.Intelligent analysis and alarming: central station is able to automatically analyze received data, and according to preset conditions to do overrun alarming or equipment failure alarming.
