Groundwater Monitoring System
Overview
To know the dynamics of groundwater level, quality, temperature and etc, the system operates long term observation of groundwater control points within designated region, and the network of those control points is called groundwater monitoring network. Ground water resources are more complicated than surface water resources, therefore, the change of quality and quantity of groundwater, the environmental conditions which lead the change of groundwater, and the movement pattern of groundwater can not be directly observed. At the same time, the ground subsidence caused by groundwater contamination and overexploitation is slow variant, irreversible damage will be occurred once the ground subsidence accumulated to a certain extent. Thereby, accurate groundwater protection relies on long-term groundwater monitoring, and promptly control the dynamic changes. Actively carry out groundwater monitoring, control groundwater environment quality, protect groundwater quality, prevent groundwater pollution, which can protect human health.
